Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding the engagement of the law firm of Durham, Pittard & Spalding, LLP to represent Williamson County in any appeal from a final judgment in the case of Cause No. 25-0488-C425; Williamson County, Siena Municipal Utility District No. 1, and Siena Municipal Utility District No. 2, v. The Cameron County Housing Finance Corporation or associated proceedings; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).
