Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $165,171.32 for Project 25IFB9 CR 255 Realignment (Jordan Foster Construction, LLC).
Background
This Change Order adds items to the Contract to address an existing water line that is in conflict with the proposed ditch. Per the RFI 10 response, the 12-inch line must be relocated outside the ditch, as well as a 2-inch lateral connection at Bon Winde Road. In accordance with the applicable terms of the Interlocal Agreement (ILA), the City of Georgetown shall be responsible for 24.41% of the associated cost. This Change Order results in a net increase of $165,171.32 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $21,039,881.66. The original Contract amount was $20,847,300.93. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $192,580.73 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 0.92% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order. P: 546 Funding Source: Road and Bridge in Commissioner Precinct 3.
