Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the agreement for the Siren-Operated Sensor (SOS) Gate Access System provided by Georgetown Fire Department for automatic gates at Williamson County Facilities and authorize execution of this Agreement.
Background
City of Georgetown Fire Department will provide SOS equipment. SOS Gate System includes all components to open electronic vehicle access gates that are located along or on fire apparatus access roads. Allows first responders (Police, Fire and EMS) to quickly access the property during emergencies by using an RFID access tag or operating an emergency siren to open access gates. Williamson County would assume full responsibility for all costs related to the System’s installation, operation, and maintenance.
