Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Renewal #1 for contract #24RFP66, for the commercial lease between Williamson County and George Butler Associates, Inc., (Lessee) for the property located at 1500 CR 269, Leander, Texas 78641, for $6,430.36 per month as rent for the leased premises, plus $894.09 as additional rent for Lessee’s payment of real property taxes assessed against the leased premises and authorize the execution of the agreement for a 12-month term from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026.

Background

This renewal agreement is for Contract #24RFP66, a lease agreement between Williamson County and George Butler Associates, Inc. The original lease runs from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025, and includes two optional one-year renewals. This renewal will extend the lease for one year. The term is from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026. The new monthly rent, based on the August 2025 CPI, will be $6,430.36. Based on the 2025 property tax statement, a recommendation to increase the additional rent for property taxes to $894.09. This is a revenue-generating contract.
