Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the selection criteria weight for pricing for RFCSP #25RFCSP87 Expo AV Upgrade and in the public interest, assigning the price criteria a weighted value of not less than 36.9 percent of the total weighted value of all selection criteria.
Background
Pursuant to Chapter 2269, Subchapter D of the Texas Government Code, Sec. 2269.153. PREPARATION OF REQUEST, staff is recommending and requesting the selection criteria for RFCSP #25RFCSP87 Expo AV Upgrade, approved to issue on 10.14.2025, item #19, with funding sources P648 and P635, assign a price weighted value of not less than 36.9 percent of the total weighted scoring of all selection criteria for the solicitation. This scoring strategy will allow for more flexibility on scoring the other pertinent criteria for this project. Approval of a price scoring weight below 50 percent for a RFCSP solicitation requires governing body approval. The point of contact is Michelle Mckinney.
