Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the use of the parking lot at the Jester Annex for food distribution by the Central Texas Food Bank on Thursday, November 12 at 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
Background
Due to the pending SNAP cuts that will go into effect on November 1, 2025, the Central Texas Food Bank has asked that the Jester Annex parking lot be used for food distribution on November 12, 2005 at 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Zip Code 78664 in Round Rock is the location of one of their largest SNAP beneficiary populations. They are adding emergency distribution sites in areas of highest need. This will only be an outdoor event. Constable Precinct 1, Round Rock Police, and WCSO are all being contacted to assist with traffic control.
