This Change Order revises and replaces construction plan sheet B15 which contains a typographical error. The design engineer has corrected the error which results in requiring additional reinforcing steel. The error was discovered after the contractor mobilized equipment, personnel, materials and initiated work. This change order compensates the contractor for the additional costs incurred with the plan revision. This change order also adds reflectorized delineators to enhance visibility for motorists through the work zone. The original contract amount was $1,522,460.00. With this change order in the amount of $34,896.39, the amended contract amount will be $1,557,356.39. This change order increases the original contract amount by 2.29%.
