Information
Agenda Item
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a Roadway Access Easement between Williamson County, as grantor, and the City of Cedar Park, as grantee, relating to an easement at Champion Park.
Public Background
The Roadway Access Easement is needed for two signal pole structures due to the limited road right of way and location of the power lines. The safest location for the traveling public is behind the existing power lines, which place the pole structures into the proposed easement. The easement will also accommodate future widening of Brushy Creek Road and the possibility of a dedicated right-turn deceleration lane into the park driveway. The work associated with the easement will also include installation of an underground electrical conduit between the poles and two electrical ground boxes (the conduit will be bored beneath the driveway to avoid driveway closure).
