Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding acceptance of donation in the amount of $1500 from Capitol Land & Livestock Trucks, Inc. pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code 81.032.
Background
Funds will be used to assist in the training and development of our JP3 Teen Court Program which includes but is not limited to the following:
Incentives and rewards for participants who successfully complete Teen Court.
Incentives and rewards for volunteers who participate with Teen Court.
Scholarships for volunteers with Teen Court.
Sponsored functions and activities for the Teen Court participants to include trainings and ceremonies/banquets before, during and after the Teen Court school calendar year.
Travel and training related costs for Teen Court Team members.
Any other related expenses to support the Teen Court Program not specifically covered.
