Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on exempting SunGard Public Sector, LLC from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.024 (a) (7) of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of software and maintenance for our ONE Solution OSSI Brand Software, including licensing, maintenance, support, modifications, and training.
Background
Requested by Lisa Maraden, Analyst I in the IT Department; SunGard Public Sector, LLC, as the owner and manufacturer, is the sole source provider of the software and maintenance.
