Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive competitive sealed proposals for Williamson County Jail Kitchen & Plumbing Remodel under RFP # 1705-166.
Background
Williamson County is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide remodeling services for the Williamson County Jail. This project will consist of re-working the HVAC, walk-in refrigeration units and some drainage in the Jail Kitchen as well as some added HVAC at two other locations on the ground floor of the Jail Building.Another component of the project is the installation of an epoxy liner at accessible areas of the copper water supply lines in certain portions of the Jail. The Jail Kitchen will be shut-down before work begins in the Kitchen area and a temporary kitchen will be provided by the County. Estimated cost $2,000,000.00.
