Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ # 1711-206, Small Drainage and Roadway Project Design to the best overall respondents Alliance Transportation Group (Drainage Design) & Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. (Roadway Design) and authorizing execution of the Professional Services Agreements.

Purchasing solicited sealed qualifications for Small Drainage and Roadway Project Design services at the request of the Road & Bridge Department. The RFQ was distributed to well over 100 firms. 90 suppliers opened and viewed the RFQ and 14 suppliers responded. After the initial evaluation 4 suppliers were chosen for interviews. Interviews were conducted in which the committee identified 2 suppliers to each perform 1 of the identified scopes of work. Alliance Transportation Group was selected to provide Drainage Design and and Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. was selected to provide Roadway Design. Both contracts provide for a not-to-exceed amount of $3,000,000.00 with each firm's fees laid out in their respective contract. Specific amounts will be determined by Work Authorizations as issued during the contract term. Funding will be provided by specific projects as needed and specified with each Work Authorization.
