Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to accept a donation of six K9 ballistic body armor for the Sheriff's Office from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
Background
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of Law Enforcement and related agencies throughout the country. The state of the art vests are from Survival Armor made in the U.S. and provide ultimate protection for K9s. Each vest has a warranty of 5 years.
