Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to accept a donation of one K9 ballistic body armor for the Sheriff's Office from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.
Background
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of Law Enforcement and related agencies throughout the country. The state of the art vests are from Survival Armor made in the U.S. that provide ultimate protection for K9s and has a warranty of 5 years. Commissioners Court previously approved the donation of six K9 ballistic body armor from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. on March 6, 2018.
