Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Use Agreement with Williamson County Emergency Service District No. 4 for use of County owned property located at or near 3414 RR 1869, Liberty Hill, Texas for a term ending February 28, 2019.
Background
The Emergency Service District No. 4 (ESD 4) is in the process of constructing a new fire station located at 22799 Ronald Reagan Boulevard. The final plat for the station was approved by the Commissioners Court on April 10, 2018. ESD 4 has requested to use the covered equipment storage area (County barn) at the County's Road Maintenance Utility Yard located 3414 RR 1869 to protect their Spartan/Luverne Engine until the construction has been completed. ESD 4 is responsible for all safety precautions and will use the barn at their own risk. The Sr. Director of Infrastructure has agreed to the use of the barn by ESD 4. Hal Hawes drafted the Use Agreement. The ESD 4 Board of Directors is approved the Use Agreement on March 29, 2018. A copy of the signed agreement is attached to this agenda item.
