Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Knight Security Systems and Williamson County for camera installation at the Williamson County Expo Center in the amount of $48,210.79, pursuant to Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) cooperative contract number DIR-TSO-3430, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
As per request by the Parks and Recreation Department, the services include providing and installing additions to existing Genetec Video Surveillance System at the Williamson County Expo Center. System installation includes hardware, system licenses, programming and configuration. The amount of the agreement includes one year of the Secure Plan. After this year, the IT Department will budget for the cost of the Secure Plan for the Parks and Recreation Department. Department contact is Clint Chitsey. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.3106.005300. Funding was approved in FY2018.
