Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding termination notice of IFB contract #1601-050, Corrugated Metal Pipe, with Contech Engineering Solutions LLC upon recommendation of Williamson County Road & Bridge Department. 

Background

The memorandum of justification provided by Road & Bridge department supports the termination.  This contract was originally created in 2016, and was renewed in March 2018 for another term, with a 5% increase in pricing. Two months later, in June 2018, Contech Engineering Solutions requested an addiitonal 20-30% increase in all bid items.  After review, the decision has been made to cancel this vendor contract and rebid all items in a competitive scenerio based on the most current market forecasts and trends.
