Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Amended and Restated Interlocal Lease Agreement between Williamson County and the City of Georgetown providing for the expansion of the real property currently being leased by the City of Georgetown pursuant to the original Interlocal Lease Agreement, being dated August 12, 2014.

On August 12, 2014, the City of Georgetown leased a portion of Williamson County’s real property located at Martin Luther King and 8th Streets for development and use as a parking lot (“Original Lease”).  The proposed Amended and Restated Interlocal Lease Agreement would expand the area being leased under the Original Lease. The additional area is identified in crosshatch and is more particularly described on Exhibit A attached and made a part the Amended and Restated Interlocal Lease Agreement.  The City of Georgetown will be obligated to remove all structures currently situated on the expansion area and will make all parking lot improvements at its own costs.  The City of Georgetown has also agreed to the waiver of various city development fees for future Williamson County developments.
