Discuss, consider and approve the adoption of Jarrell CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) as an RCS Associate customer under the County radio system.

With the April 12, 2016 commissioner court approval of the RCS Associates agreement as an extension of the 2008

ILA. This agreement allows for contract services between the RCS and the subscriber providing substantial backing

for the County's RCS invoice process. The City of Jarrell created a new Emergency management division to support

the city. The (8) radios will be billed directly to Jarrell CERT under the City. The RCS Advisory Board approved their request to join

under an action item on the November 1, 2018 RCS Agenda during their quarterly meeting.  This item has been vetted through WCEC

(911) and has been determined to create no additional workload on the radios dispatch position at this time.  The entity is not requesting

new talkgroups and the CERT radios themselves will be tiered down (3) channels for use within the City.
