Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Interlocal License Agreement between Williamson County and Williamson County Emergency Service District #3 to allow the use of the vehicle preemption system by Williamson County EMS emergency response vehicles.

This agreement would allow Williamson County EMS to install and use the vehicle preemption system installed on certain traffic signals in the ESD#3 response area.  The preemption system allows the normal operation of traffic lights to be preempted by emergency vehicles that are responding to calls using lights and siren in order to assist in decreasing response times to emergencies.  There is no ongoing cost to the County.  Devices and installation costs will be covered using EMS approved budget.  This agreement has been reviewed by Williamson County legal.
