Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting Tyler Technologies, Inc. from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the Discretionary Exemption as set forth under Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024 (7)(A), for an import of documents into Odyssey in the amount of $5,155, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County District Clerk's Office. Commissioner's court approved the preservation of historical records by Kofile Technologies back on 6/25/2019. This is a sequential purchase for the importation of those preserved records into Odyssey to make them searchable. Tyler Technologies is the parent company of Odyssey making Tyler Technologies the only company capable of importing these records. Funding for the project has been encumbered from line item 01.0388.0388.004550. Department contact is District Clerk Lisa David.
