Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an Interlocal Agreement between Williamson County and Volusia County, Florida authorizing Cooperative Procurement between both entities and authorizing execution of the agreement.

This agreement will authorize a cooperative procurement program between Williamson County and Volusia County, FL. This agreement will allow Volusia to procure items that have already been competitively bid by the County where the supplier has agreed to provide such goods/services and pricing to entities in which the County has a cooperative agreement in place. Volusia County has a specific interest in utilizing the piggy-back clause in our contract with Negometrix, Inc. to procure their own electronic bidding/contract management system. Williamson County is not guaranteeing compliance with Florida procurement laws by forming this agreement and Volusia County will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Florida law.
