Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the disposal of various county assets through Sale to Another Entity of one (1) ballistic vest, pursuant to Tx. Local Gov’t Code 263.152.

This agenda item is to document the disposition of a ballistic vest from County inventory.  A Williamson County Investigator is leaving the County and will be employed by Hutto ISD PD. Hutto ISD PD has asked to purchase his ballistic vest from the County Attorney's Office. Ballistic vests are fitted to each officer and purchasing a new vest is not as cost effective as selling a current one that fits. After the purchase has been made, the county no longer assumes warranty for the vest.  The Inter Local Agreement with the City of Hutto was previously approved by Commissioners Court on 4/7/20, Agenda Item #15.
