Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting and approving a report on the Williamson County North Jail Water Softener & Boiler Replacement Project (P-526); Change Order #03 in the amount of $2,770.00 from approve funding from within the existing contract contingency for Mechanical & Electrical changes, which was executed by Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code.
Background
This change order was to provide rerouting of existing fire system piping & electrical conduit in conflict with the new Boiler Flue piping. There will be a time extension on this change order of 14 days. On January 7th, 2020, the Williamson County Commissioners Court granted Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, with general authority to approve change orders for the Agreement for Construction Services with JT Vaughn Construction, LLC in relation to the Williamson County North Jail Water Softener & Boiler Replacement Project for any increase in costs up to a total maximum amount of $30,000.00 in accordance with Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code – Changes in Plans and Specifications. This report is being provided for purposes of notifying the court of such change order and to place it in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
