Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on ratifying the Service Agreement/Order Form between Williamson County and Cequal Communications, LLC dba Suddenlink Communications, which was executed by the County Judge on May 5th, 2020 to support the operations of the Williamson County ITS Department and exempting these services from the competitive bidding requirements per Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024(a)(2).
Background
This is a temporary increase in internet bandwidth at a cost of $2,495.00 to support the Wilco Forward Small Business Program as well as testing forms on our website. It will be downgraded later next month. Department point of contact is Richard Semple. Funding source CARES Act 418P.
