Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ #2451-5 Planning and Design of Road Bond Projects - Southwest Bypass Extension from SH 29 to Wolf Ranch Parkway, Road Bond Project #3.2, to the overall most qualified firm LJA Engineering, Inc. and authorizing execution of the agreement. Funding source P352.
Background
Purchasing solicited sealed statements of qualifications for Planning and Design of Road Bond Projects. 68 firms participated in the solicitations of which 31 firms submitted for the projects specified in the RFQ. Evaluations were held for the design projects. After the evaluation phase, it was determined that LJA Engineering, Inc. was the most qualified firm to provide the services required by the County for SW Bypass Ext SH 29 to Wolf Ranch Pkwy Bond Project #3.2. Total contract amount will be $1,200,000.00. Department point of contact is Terron Evertson.
