Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ #2451-10 Planning and Design of Road Bond Projects - Bud Stockton Extension from CR 305 to FM 487, Road Bond Project #3.4, to the overall most qualified firm Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. and authorizing execution of the agreement. Funding source P307.
Background
Purchasing solicited sealed statements of qualifications for Planning and Design of Road Bond Projects. 68 firms participated in the solicitations of which 31 firms submitted for the projects specified in the RFQ. Evaluations were held for the design projects. After the evaluation phase, it was determined that Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. was the most qualified firm to provide the services required by the County for Bud Stockton Ext Road Bond Project #3.4. Total contract amount will be $1,200,000.00. Department point of contact is Terron Evertson.
