Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request to apply for grant funding through the Texas Department of Transportation’s 2020 County Transportation Infrastructure Fund Grant Program.
Background
This program provides funding assistance for roadway projects to counties in areas of the state affected by increased oil and gas production. Applications are due on May 27, 2020. McNeil Road is recommended as the County roadway project to which these funds would go. If the project is selected for funding, County matching funds must be at least 20 percent of the total grant amount. Funding Source: 0200-0210-003599.
