Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an amendment to the DPS Interlocal Agreement for three forensic scientists for the County Attorney's office in the amount of $308.075.54 and authorize execution of the amendment.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Attorney's Office. This is Amendment 1 to the ILA that was originally approved on 11/19/2019. This amendment covers the salary, benefits and administration fees for three forensic scientists to conduct testing of seized drugs and blood alcohol analysis of evidence. Amendment covers a term from 10/1/2020 to 9/30/2021. Amendment and original agreement are attached. The county must sign the ILA amendment first. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0560.004100.
