Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Idemia Identity & Security USA, LLC and Williamson County for an upgrade to the existing LiveScan System in the amount of $6,054, and exempting this purchase from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions 262.024 (a)(7)(D) (captive replacement parts or components for equipment) and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Attorney's Office. The agreement attached outlines the upgrades to the existing LiveScan system to include an upgrade of software, a new computer and on-site installation. IT has approved this purchase.
