Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of ($88,750.77) for Project T4320 CR 401, 402, 404 Overlay (Texas Materials) P:390 Funding Source: Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order provides the final balancing for the overrun/underrun of Contract quantities on the project as a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans.
This Change Order results in a net decrease of $88,750.77 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $841,430.07. The original Contract amount was $922,709.84. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, the Contract has been decreased by $81,279.77, resulting in an 8.81% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to the Contract, as a result of this Change Order.
