9:30 am Conduct public hearing relating to a request from Human Resources and the Commissioners Court to transfer the funding for a position allocated during the FY2022 Budget Process from Non Departmental to the Commissioners Court Budget for the position of Risk Analyst and discuss (1) the reason for the funding transfer, including the public purpose that will be served by transferring the funding; and (2) the exact amount of the funding transfer, the sources of the payment, and the terms for distribution of the payment that effect and maintain the public purpose to be served if any excess is needed.
Background
- The reason for the funding transfer is to set up the position within the Commissioners Court budget and fund at the minimum of the grade within current policy. The public will be well served by the role this position will play in a proactive risk model.
- The funding to be transferred is the $80,761.43 (detail attached) originally budgeted, which will be paid through the normal bi-weekly payroll. No excess is needed.
