Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of five (5) License Plate Recognition Cameras and annual maintenance from Vigilant Solutions, LLC, in the amount of $6,975.60, pursuant to HGAC contract #EF04-21, and authorizing execution of the maintenance agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. The quote is attached that outlines the details of the License Plate Recognition (LPR) Cameras, maintenance subscription, and replacement plan to be purchased. Total price of the initial purchase is $6,975.60, recurring annual maintenance is at a rate of $2,250 per year per camera, subscription maintenance agreement is for a term of five (5) years. Maintenance agreement is attached. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.2008.003008. Department contact is Lt.
