Background
The Purchasing Department sent out one thousand sixty (1,060) notifications of the solicitation with twenty-two (22) document takers and received three (3) submitting firms. Williamson County received bids for the purchase and delivery of Asphalt Mixes for construction maintenance of highways, streets and bridges on an as needed basis. Asphalt Inc LLC, dba Lone Star Paving and Texas Materials Group, Inc. provided the lowest and best bids. Awarded vendors will be utilzed based on the scheduled job and asphalt availability by location and type of material. The approved budget for this commodity is $540,000.00. Funding source: 01.0200.0210.003597 and 01.0200.0210.003550. The point of contact is Matt Williamson.
