Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on setting a Public Hearing for August 2, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. regarding the setting of an amended rate associated with mandatory provider participation payments that Williamson County may require of all local hospitals for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 in relation to the Williamson County Health Care Participation Program and establish how the revenue derived from those payments may be spent in accordance with Chapter 292B of the Texas Health and Safety Code and the Williamson County Health Care Provider Participation Program Rules and Procedures.

HHSC is expected to call for an additional CHIRP Year 1 IGT sometime in August (similar to the additional IGT called for UHRIP Year 4 last August). The providers participating within the Williamson County LPPF would like to request that the County amend the current FY22 rate to ensure sufficient funds are available for this CHIRP IGT in August as well as the UC DY11 Final IGT in September.
