Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Addendum to the Master Maintenance Agreement (MMA) between Opex Corporation and Williamson County, (previously approved on 3.22.2022 under agenda item #21, Request for Quote #21RFQ61), for the amount of $24,645.00 and authorize the execution of the Addendum.

The approval of this Addendum will benefit the Williamson County Tax Office with service and maintenance on previously purchased machines and software. The attached addendum should have been supplied by the vendor, Opex, last October when the amount of $11,845.00 was due for service and maintenance for FY23. The remaining dollar amount of $12,800.00 is not due until 10/1/2024 for FY24. Tax Office issued 21 RFQ61 in 2022, a request for quotes, in Bonfire and received three submissions. Of those three submissions, the Opex's solution provides the best value to the Tax Office. The Opex Falcon machine and RT Lawarence software is a rapid processing system that electronically scans remittance coupons and payment checks to create Check21 files for electronic bank deposit and payment files that are imported in mass to update accounts. The Opex Omation enveloper opens incoming mail as well as the overnight envelopes. Legal and Contract Audit have reviewed this Addendum.  Funding Source is 01.0100.0499.004500.
