Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Services Contract #2023225 between Mercy Veterinary Hospital and Williamson County for the not-to-exceed amount of $25,000.00 and exempting Mercy Veterinary Hospital from the competitive bidding requirements for said service established by Section 262.024.(4) [A personal or professional service] of the Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions and authorizing the execution of the Contract.
Background
Approval of this Contract will benefit the Williamson County Sheriff's Department K9 Division with boarding (shelter, feeding, and care) for the K9s. This Contract is for a one-year term, with the capability of renewing for two more years, one year at a time. The attached contract details the services provided by Mercy Veterinary Hospital. Legal and Contract Audit have approved this contract. Funding source is 01.0410.0411.003104. Department point of contact is Terri Countess.
