Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the procurement of Property/Casualty & Workers' Compensation Insurance through Broker of Record McGriff Insurance Services under RFP #22RFP79 for a total amount of up to $4,520,398.41 for the term October 1, 2023 through October 1, 2024.
Background
Williamson County Broker of Record for Risk Insurance McGriff, Seibels & Williams solicited quotes from various carriers. The premium has decreased from last fiscal year because the County has moved from full coverage workers’ compensation insurance to a self-funded workers’ compensation program with an excess workers’ compensation insurance policy with a high self-insured retention. The funding sources are complex as each department/office must pay its portion. Funding is provided annually in the General Fund departmental budgets and the Risk Fund (workers’ compensation only) object codes 02050, 04419, 04414, 04413, and 04412.
