Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with Parkside at Mayfield Ranch Municipal Utility District for off duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective October 24, 2023.
Background
This renewal agreement gives permission for Parkside at Mayfield Ranch MUD to contract County Sheriff deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice them for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on October 24, 2023 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2024 and October 1, 2025. The agreement will be revisited with proper approvals from the Commissioners Court for October 1, 2026 (FY'27).
