Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #23RFP101 Solid Waste and Recycling Services for Williamson County to Texas Disposal Systems, Inc. in the amount of One hundred thirty-nine thousand four hundred dollars and twenty-four cents ($139,400.24) and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Williamson County sent out over 260 notifications and received two submissions. Of the two submissions, one was not accepted as the vendor did not provide representation to the mandatory pre-bid conference held on 08.30.2023. This contract’s initial term begins on the date of award and shall continue until September 30, 2025, with four (4) optional one-year terms. This contract will provide commercial and Roll-off dumpsters and collection at various locations throughout Williamson County on an as needed basis. The funding sources are: 01.0100.0509.4430 and 01.0200.0210.004991 and the point of contact is Christy Matoska.
