Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the Amendment to the CC approved 10.29.2024 Agenda Item #19 services contract #202551 between Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP and Williamson County for the Project at Inner Loop Annex, pursuant to Cooperative Sourcewell – Contract Number #030427-JHN and authorizing the execution of the amendment.
Background
Willamson County General Counsel prepared the Amendment and on 11.23.2024 Facilities Management received the signed Amendment from Johnson Controls. Following the 10.29.2024 CC approved Agenda Item #19 Facilities Management issued an associated PO on 11.6.2024 for $46,481.20 to proceed with the work and Johnson Controls scheduled the work associated with the PO. However, Sourcewell objected to the Terms and Conditions attached to the PO as well as those on the previously fully executed Service Contract. This Amendment solves those requests. The funding source is 01.0100.1043.004509, Origination ID # 1414. Point of Contact: Christi Stromberg. Texas Ethics Form 1295 is not required as Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP is a publicly traded company.
