Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving purchase #202546 between Williamson County and Motorola Solutions, Inc. for BDA/Jail DAS Service Agreement in the amount of $7,651.50, pursuant to HGAC RA 05-21 cooperative contract and authorize execution of the documents.

The approval of this purchase will benefit Williamson County and the Wireless Communication Department with the Motorola FY25 BDA/Jail DAS Annual Service Agreement through September 2025. A Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is a network of antennas designed to boost and sustain wireless signals throughout a facility where there may otherwise be little or no coverage.  Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA's) function with a Distributed Antenna System to amplify those wireless signals. This system is currently in place and this agreement continues the service.  The funding source is 01.0100.0587.004500 for FY25. Budget, Contract Audit and General Counsel have approved this purchase.  Origination #990.  The department point of contact is Wendy Coco. Vendor are publicly traded, thus a 1295 form is not required.
