Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on naming and referring to the new Williamson County building located at 9500 N. Lake Creek Blvd. as the Wilco Outpost.
Background
Adoption of the name for the TxDOT building, Agenda item #66 on the November 19, 2024, agenda, was accomplished through grouping of it with 16 other items and with no discussion. This is a unique building with a far west location within Precinct 1, surrounded by steel security fencing and a large electronic gate. This proposal, giving the building a much shorter name than the current 30-character name, is to change it to the Wilco Outpost, generally referred to as The Outpost.
