Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Service Order #2025204 between Williamson County and Astound Business Solutions for Internet for the Smartwave Wifi project on the square around the Historic Courthouse in Georgetown, TX 78626 in the amount of $108,000.00 that will cover a sixty (60) month term, pursuant to TIPS contract #230105, and authorizing the execution of the Service Order. 501P.
Background
Approval of this Service Order will benefit the Historic Courthouse in the heart of Georgetown, Texas. The current internet source is located at the Justice Center and this service order will support the re-routing of the internet via fiber to the courthouse. Included here is also the MSA, valid through 06.27.2027. Funding Source is ARPA Funds; 501P Broadband Proj; Award 501A; Task 12. Contract Audit and General Council has approved. Orig #2500.
