Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a resolution proclaiming April 18, 2025, as Two Lights for Tomorrow Day in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the ride of Paul Revere.
Background
America will celebrate its sesquicentennial in 2026. In preparation for this exciting year of celebration, Texas America250 is participating in the Two Lights for Tomorrow initiative on April 18, 2025, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the ride of Paul Revere. Williamson County will shine two lights on the west stairs of the historic courthouse to participate in the program. In addition, the Williamson Museum will have a costumed speaker read the poem The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere on the east steps of the courthouse on Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m.
