Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving IFB #25IFB25 with Clark Construction of Texas, Inc. for Cul-de-Sac and Straight Section – Fog Seal Spring 2025 for the Road and Bridge Department, in the amount of $445,600.00, and authorize execution of this agreement.

Williamson County sent out over nine thousand fifteen (9,015) notifications with thirty-eight (38) document takers and received four (4) submitted bids. The bids were reviewed and the apparent low bidder, Clark Construction of Texas Inc, was found to be responsive and materially balanced. Their lowest bid of $445,600.00 was 10.2% below the Engineer’s estimate.  In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, this vendor has performed similar work on other projects and received positive references. It is recommended to the Williamson County Commissioners Court that they award Clark Construction of Texas, Inc. the contract for the Cul-de-Sac and Straight Section – Fog Seal Spring 2025 project.  Contract Audit and General Counsel reviewed, the funding source is 01.0200.0210.003599 and the point of contact is Jenifer Favreau.
