Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a Resolution adopting the 2025 Williamson County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan.

The plan has been under development for the past year. It was reviewed by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and has received Approval Pending Adoption Status. The plan's development included a planning team with stakeholders, local officials, emergency managers, and community members to assess hazards and vulnerabilities, using historical data and risk assessments. Based on this analysis, we developed mitigation strategies and identified actions and projects to reduce or eliminate risks. A current plan will allow the County to seek grant opportunities for mitigation activities.
