Background
Williamson County, Texas, herein “the County and its partner agencies”, are seeking a Contractor to provide Equipment Rental Services on an as-needed basis. Williamson County serves as the lead agency for this solicitation, with its partner agencies being able to utilize the resulting contract if an ILA between Williamson County and the partner agencies was/is issued. The requested equipment quantity will vary. There is no guarantee as to the number of equipment items being requested or the duration of use. Proposers may include related equipment, supplies, accessories, and services to the extent that these solutions are complementary to the equipment, products, or services being proposed. The contract resulting from this solicitation is non-exclusive, and each agency may utilize other contractors at their discretion. The County and its partner agencies intend to award one (1) primary contract and one (1) back-up contract to be utilized on an “as-needed” basis to provide the services mentioned above, but reserve the right to award by item to multiple contractors if it is in the best interest of the County and its partner agencies. The contractor must be able to provide adequate rental inventory. Each partner agency utilizing the contract resulting from this solicitation shall be responsible for payment of their invoices.
