Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of ($261,915.65) for Project 24IFB59 East Wilco Hwy Segment 2 Phase 1 (Capital Excavation) P: 392 Funding Source: 2023 Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order officially issues the "For Construction" plan set for the Jonah Water Line "B" relocation. New items will be added to the Contract and quantities are being adjusted. This will reflect the water line being installed in the existing Jonah easement instead of in Williamson County's ROW, as shown in the bid set. Multiple items will be added by this Change Order. Please see attached Change Order for additional details.
This Change Order results in a net decrease of $261,915.65 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $64,186,859.09. The original Contract amount was $64,407,606.63. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $220,747.54 has been deducted from the Contract, resulting in a 0.34% net decrease in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
