Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $35,000.00 for Project 25IFB6 Bagdad ROW Clearing (Loop 332 to CR 281) (Rotten Apple Services, LLC) P: 343 Funding Source: 2023 Road Bond.
Background
This Change Order is adding an item for Vegetative Watering to help establish vegetation throughout the project. After the trees were cleared, it was determined that we should add watering to the Contract to help establish vegetation. Please see the attached Change Order for additional details.
This Change Order results in a net increase of $35,000.00 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $1,297,379.00. The original Contract amount was $1,253,832.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $43,547.00 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 3.47% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
